Qualifying

Visit Event Producer Partners for a list of IALC Partners' events. Look for the IALC logo or contact the Partner directly to confirm that IALC bids will be given at that competition.

PAID Bid (Two per Event)

Out of all of the bid winners, the IALC Partner will designate two as the PAID Bids. A PAID Bid means that the qualifying team does not have to pay the registration fees associated with the IALC. Examples of criteria in determining who is awarded the PAID Bids:

1. Top Scoring Level 4 team
2. Top Scoring team from the largest division at an event

At qualifying events, bids are to be awarded to the Top 3 placing teams in every division offered at the IALC. This includes Levels 5 and 6! If a division splits (ex: at the event, there are enough Level 3 Junior Coeds registered that the division is split into both Level 3 Small Junior Coed and Level 3 Large Junior Coed), then bids are awarded in both of the split divisions.

First Place Bids

Teams who place first in their division will receive a 1st place bid and pay a $25 registration fee per participant.

Second Place Bids

Teams who place second will recieve a 2nd place bid and pay a $45 registration fee per participant.

Third Place Bids

Teams who place third will receive a 3rd place bid and pay a $65 registration fee per participant.

At-Large Bids

Event Producers have the opportunity to pass out an additional 5 At-Large Bids at each qualifying event as they deem neccessary. Again, the criteria used in determining which teams win the 5 At-Large Bids must be done so on-site during the event. At-Large Bid Winners will pay the standard $85 registration fee per participant.

There is no special Crossover fee. Each participant performing on a team will pay the fee associated with that team.

Teams are required to compete in the division in which they received the bid.
